compatiblility issues...

i have made a site for my grandmother's 70th birthday.. you know, the standard family routine thing.. However, on it i have a javascript slide show that calls for images stored on that same geocities.com account. The images show up perfectly on windows, but my grandmother and I both use macintosh. On mac OS 9 it works, but then mac OS X displays ALMOST all the images as an "X". That doesn't make sense, because it recognizes some images in the EXACT same folder! And help would be great.

Hey, Greelmo. I don't have Macintosh, otherwide I'd take a crack at it... Strange that's it not working. Try testing some scripts at http://dynamicdrive.com/ in the Mac OS X and see if they work. If they do, then learn from and use them. Or parts of them.
