Footer doesn't clear left nav

In Firefox, the footer of my site clears both the left nav bar and the main content, but in IE, it doesn't clear the left nav!

Please help!

Ethics. see this post, I think this is a very common question as I've seen it often here and it's a pretty easy fix.

There's a few different ways to skin this cat but this will give you an example of the float and clear tags and how they work together and/or against each other. Respond if this does not answer your question.

Nevermind. I just made a height thingy and it cleared.
