Invisible in Dreamweaver, Visible in IE?????

This is a strange one. I'm using a PNG graphic, along with the IE fix Alpha Image Loader, and am successful getting transparentcy in IE but in Dreamweaver the entire image is transparent! I can't even see where to line things up. Anyway, has anyone ever heard of this and if so do you have any ideas? Thanks.

this doesn't make sense - do you want to be able to see it in dreamweaver and not IE? not see it in both? or not see it in DW but want to see it in IE? explain further?
