image rollovers

I'm done with my business site and now creating my personal site. On my thumbnail images I want to add a image rollover without having to use onmouseover's and stuff using css. What I want is preferably a border around the images or a little fade on the images, but nothing to flashy, distracting, or annoying.

You gonna have to use either Javascript or css.
