David Harrison 03-15-2006, 11:02 PM Depends entirely on the host, but most hosts allow a range of ways to pay. For example, Dreamhost allows you to pay by the month, by the year, or every 2 years. Edit: Ah, just noticed that you mentioned godaddy in the title. It would seem that godaddy do a similar thing to Dreamhost if you check here: https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/shared.asp?se=%2B&ci=260 welsh 03-16-2006, 01:01 AM im guessing you mean that by the no annual commitement phrase that was on the site? David Harrison 03-16-2006, 03:27 AM No, this: welsh 03-16-2006, 11:25 AM yea, that too. drhowarddrfine 03-16-2006, 11:32 AM Not to hijack the thread but I'm confused about GoDaddy. I've always registered through Network Solutions. Do I own my domain name the same way with GoDaddy? Or is it one of those goofy things where you can lose it if you change hosts or on a whim of their own?
