I have to make a music CD of 1968 music for my Changes in social history class, and I need a place where I can get that music.
My choices are either Limewire and iTunes. I know about iTunes, but I'm cheap and don't want to pay for music (as with everybody else I'm sure:p)

I heard about limewire, but I don't know what it is exactly.
A program that lets you download things from other people? How exactly does it work? Is it 100% safe and 100% secure? I can't accept anything less.

Thanks!

You are treading dangerous grounds, my friend. Limewire is a client for a Gnutella network, which is a peer-to-peer network. There are no central servers, you are simply connecting to and sharing with other computers, who in turn connect to other computers who also connect with other computers, and so on. Now while such networks can be used for sharing free and open files, they are most generally used for illegal downloading of copyrightted materials and "cracked" software. I'd have to advise you to use iTunes (the cheapest one, methinks) or some other music store to buy music. Otherwise it's stealing.

And to prevent any illegal discussion, I'll close this thread, sorry.
