And don't misuse the P word.

Support for HTML, CSS, and Javascript in web browsers such as Firefox and Opera is good to excellent.

Support for HTML in Internet Explorer is fair to good.
Support for CSS, and Javascript in Internet Explorer is poor to woeful.

Install Firefox along with the developer extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=60&application=firefox) and you'll wonder why you waited so long.

Install firefox and you'll see that is also just a much friendlier browser with tabbed browsing, integrated search box, a conveiniant download manager, and a quick bookmarks strip. It is much sleaker and easier to use than internet explorer.

Internet Explorer does not support standards set in 1998.

Internet explorer still leads to the propagation of major viruses throughout the internet, including the one my roommate got because he refuses to switch and the one the girl up stairs got. Both in the past month. I ended up having to extract the thing from both systems because I'm too nice.

In short the answer is NO.....
You needed to ask therefore you don't deserve FF....

I totally agree with Jeff. Wow, has that ever happened before? I'm sure we'll make up for it some day in a political debate in the Coffee Lounge.

Once you start using Firefox, you're really going to weep over all those wasted years! I'm still undergoing therapy about it... Use the developer's extension, color zilla, and measure it, and your developer's arsenal will be complete.

Well said Sunny.

The thing that I like most about firefox is that you can have tabs. It makes browsing so much quicker. I've heard that IE7 is going to introduce tabbed browsing; I'll maybe switch back to IE for a while if that's the case. Though I doubt that It'll be long before I'm back using firefox; once you're used to its interface you're hooked.

Yes gnu-gfx scroll up. I was just mentioning IE7. Its designed to go with microsoft vista being introduced soon but ive tried it and its awful. Ok it has tabbed browsing but ive seen designs laid out better by children. Its absoloutely horrible to use but feel free to try it as i havnt met anyone else who has and would like to swap opinions.
