i am very new to javascript, could you help me?

i would like a script that allows a images on my page to change depending on the date. is this possible? if so could you please tell me cus i can't work my head around it.

There are quite a few ways to do this, which method to use will depend upon the answer to the following questions:

What do you want to happen where JavaScript is not present?

Do my images convey any information or are they just visualy interresting?

Does what information that is conveyed by the images change from image to image?

How many images are we talking about?

What, exactly, is the desired relationship between particular dates and particular images?

the images have links in them and when java script is not present i want it to goto a different web page.

Can you be a little more specific?
So far I've got that each image is a picture of a URL. Does that mean that each image also needs to be a link to that URL? What are the answers to the last two questions?

the pictures on the website must change on the page. and when the user click on the links it goes to the page (hosted some where else.

Can you be much more specific about the relationship between day and image?

Do you have a different image for each dy or month?

Do you want a random rotation?

Do you want them cycled?

Do you have one for every first day of the month and so on?
