I just joined the forum today. For my first act as a member I would like to apologize for being a complete amateur hack when it comes to graphics and programming in general. :(

My latest dilemma involves an animated GIF that I would like to add to a banner. I am wondering if through the GIF Constructor Set the image (images actually) could be resized and text inserted to the right which would occupy the rest of the banner. The image size is 150x107 and for purposes of the banner (sized at 468x60) I am proposing to resize the image to 85x60 in order to retain the original proportions. I would then insert the text into each of the 240+ frames. I am hoping I can do this and still allow the animation to function. Here is the image (the title refers to a character banging his head on a computer keyboard -- I think the poor fellow got the blue screen again...):

Is there any hope of adding this excellent animation to a banner with text?

Thanks in advance for any help or general insults that you may offer. ;)

Not sure if this could also work, but could you build the banner at 856 x 107 to include the Gif as is, then resize the finished banner from 856x107 porportionally to 468x60?

That sounds a bit easier. My main concern is the functionality of the animation...

Hmmm, I think I will give it a try...

Thanks,
