I want to start a small web hosting project, i dont have a gd knoweldge about servers and networking, but i have a gd knoweldge about .NET developing (C#.NET, VB.NET) windows and web applications, can someone tell me what do i need to start this project?!

Pick up a book about servers and networking. There's a lot of things you need to know before you go into this field.

well, i dnt think i'll use linux at all, plus i may leave all server work 4 other ppl, i just need 2 understand wt does this project needs?!

Do you plan on owning and running the hardware? Or will you buy dedicated servers in a hosting facility and resell to others? Or do you just want to buy a reseller account from an exisiting webhost and use their tools?
