How to do SEO for my Blog

Please give me suggestion how to do SEO for my newly blog. This is my first project and i have no idea how to popular my blog.

Hi

Are you using wordpress, if you are there are a large number of SEO olivine you could look at just search the plugins directory

More than plugins or strategy, you need good, quality content on a blog. There are a lot of subtle factors in SEO that will affect your rank more than your good intentions and plugins... relevance to the topic, building a brand and attracting recommendations and subscribers (and repeat traffic), link building, etc.

Start with good content, that's a must and goes without saying.

Secondly, I'd make sure I had some good categories set up. Those categories can become ranked search terms as well.

After that, spend some time building links, but also site visitors. Becoming an active member on a number of blogs and forums within your niche is a must.

There are various ways to get good ranking in "G". All that needs is choose specialized keywords, good content and a number of good backlinks. Wish you best of luck

As it is a new blog, you will have to make sure that on-page optimization of this blog is perfect. The quality of the content is very important. You must write for people not for search engine.

After that work on off-page optimization. You may create backlinks by doing social bookmarking, forum posting, blog commenting or web directory submission.

There are other ways to drive traffic towards a blog that includes social media marketing, PPC campaigns or you may opt to post classified ads on craigslist or backpage etc to get traffic.

All in All, you will have to make sure that the quality of your blog is high in order to increase traffic towards your blog.
