Linux Or Windows ?

Linux hosting is a kind of hosting in which hosting ran by server having operation system of linux. Normally run 64 bit CentOS. Linux server are known because of their value, stability and wide feature set.
While in windows hosting a website is hosted on the server use operation system of Microsoft windows. It supports for Front page, FP extension and more additional features.

This post is submitted twice by mistake and because of it i am changing its message.
Selection of windows or linux depends on your need that means what you want to use ASP or .NET in this case you should choose windows otherwise you can use cheaper hosting platform of linux.

And linux system is offered by most of the hosting company by default, so it is good for any user, whether they are new or experienced.

So which one is good for a new user who doesn't know much about hosting stuffs?

I think both are good, but most hosting service gives you Linux by default.

Linux is different server and windows is different if you are performing a regular task..than linux is best and if you need a better graphics then windows is the best....:)
