I aggree, I do not see how people can listen to some music :rolleyes: this rap, new age 'alternative' rock / raprock (my mother didn't love me enough I will sing about it, wahhh, kinda stuff), and punk. Grrr. I'll listen to the beach boys and classical any day :p

Haven't we all figured this all out by now? All the really good music is from the 60's-70's. Two words everyone, classic rock. Although there is some good current rock, though I'm really fussy when it comes to modern rock. The only exception probably would by Linkin Park... But come on, THE BEATLES, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and PINK FLOYD!!! Who can touch these bands? No one, plain and simple. You want some good modern rock, I still say Jet and Audioslave. And I will say this real shocker:

Their lyrics are 'daddy and mommy didn't give me enough attention, I am going to cry about it and write lil songs'. There is little or no substance in modern alternative rock, it is weak and meaningless crap. Rap today is like the stereotype, sex sex sex. Watch the music videos much?
