The result was too big to represent
Application error, not a windows error. Don't think there is much you can do about it.
Geforce 4 - 5 cards are lacking in directx9 support. I like their rendering better, but for some games they will really crap out. They also consistantly get lower 3dmark ratings then ati cards. Now if we talk about the geforce6 series vs the ati x series the nvidia card is better IMO.Quote:

I don't know about that. I'm running two GeForce 4 MX 420's and it stomped an ATI (running NFSU2) with the same specs except a RAM speed twice a fast, DVI out, and a composite out. The ATI didn't even support Anti-Alaise(sp).
I've always prefered nVidia... well, not always, but 3dNow (VooDoo) is dead.
I just read the first few pages of this, really confusing thread of many faces, it was a bit of a laugh because alot of the people whom posted have CHANGED their avatars.... thus making it even more confusing and otherwise F***D up...... lol  :D
They musta been low end ati cards :). Actually NFSU does not really use a lot of dx9, so the cards are on an even playing feild. But the older nvidia cards are going to really start going out of style here soon. I need a 6600 or an x600 :/.Quote:

Don't beat yourself up over this, Mitch. It's not your fault. Dammit, Blue was old. That's what old people do. They die.
