Is it good practice to add a map facility to a mobile website ? Instinct tells me probably not because of size re loading and GPS facility on a lot of mobiles, but I am not experienced...

I am just starting to make my own website and I think there is HTML code which will enable a thumbnail when clicked to open a larger image in the same window rather than taking the viewer off site....
