When you click on one of the elements, the screen darkens, the loading symbol appears but it doesn't load....
Also, I'd make all the boxes the same size....

In general, javascript can't stop your browser doing anything.... (or alter your browser in any way).
Might I ask why you wish to do this?

There are more then 5 admins (unusual enough on it's own), but I noticed that some of them have never even posted...
Is there a reason for this?
