hehe, not the slider. that one is obvious. the 'daily deals' below the slider that displays a product and its attributes with a countdown.

there are a few different ways. one of them being javascript and the other being more simple, basically just adjusting your website to %. see here for a quick tutorial....

you'll have to create rules to tell the sections what you want them to do. for instance:

#bodycontent {
width:75%;
}

will adjust the size of the content area to 75% of the page width.

also, when entering code use the <> bracket button on the WYSIWYG. otherwise certain characters won't display correctly.

if you need a table, i would assume its for data. if so, just use a regular table. that's what they're for! :)

add float:left; to those cells.
