i figured out the problem
the problem was me being dumb :)
the html code was: <img src="2.jpg" height=420 width=420>
the dimensions of the image are given as width...
I did that. Still didn't work :(

There's nothing else in the code - no headers, no nothing else!
The width value makes no difference
