Would it make a difference if I edit the file while it is open in the browser, but when I save it close and re-open the browser then load the page?

The computer executes the files no problem until I edit them.

I am devloping ASP.NET pages using Notepad and IIS. They work fine until I update the code, save it and refresh the page. When I do this the page acts as if it is taking ages to load, I can't get on...
