Is it best to use an inline style? Do I need a style to exist before...

I moved the onLoad out of the BODY tag and into the IMG tag. The script works perfectly and my images load correctly evertime.

UPDATE:
I add the onload function in the body tag (body onLoad="adjustRatio();">....that made the function run. Is there a way to run the function before the image loads so it doesnt visually...
