it fits most 1024x768 resolutions (when the client has just the default toolbars in their broswers!!). i may have to leave it at that - it is just a pain that the content scrolls off the top.

will this center the content vertically on the page also though? this is the requirement.

i am wondering what the logo would look like on a solid black bar at the top OR the logo reversed on white eg. the text is black. sitting in a box in the middle doesn't look quite right. i think...

personally the city looks very flat - but that is me saying this from across the other side of the world - haha!

one thing that might help the overall look is too give yourself more margin eg. 20pixels in from the left, right, top and bottom of your whitespace.

also, you have used a funky border on your pic...
