how to display entries in a new combo box upon selection from 1st combo box

now here it is............i know its very simple but really i wnt to know it...i asked dis from somebody, he told me dat, it can be done using javascript, but i m not good at all in javascript so how can u use it??
i need a simple code which can do dis>>>

e.g if u select a particular month, lets say, May or July....... all dose in which dere r 31 dayz..., so if u select any of dose months den dayz upto 31 shud be populated dynamicaly in da dayz combo box WITHOUT refreshing da page and viceversa for all 30 dayz months....

simple na??
i need a complete code...no idea about javascript's event handlers...!!
