Im trying to install this cgi and am soo lost, I've been at it for 2 days now.
the company doesn't respond to my emails so im trying to figure this out http://netbula.com/anyboard/manual/install.html
(those are the install instructions which seem simple enough, but I've done it many times and get the same error each time, am I missing something?
(I uploaded all the files but my anyboard.cgi doesnt seem to load like the example) Here's something which is suposed to help me http://www.lukesplace.com/cgi/getinfo.cgi but for the most part am clueless what the deal is.
I've decided to hate this software and its only a personal thing as to my wanting to figure it out.
If you can explain it to me, I'll give you a buffalo nickel!
I'm a deer hunter. I go all the time with my dad. One thing about deer, they have very good vision. One thing about me...I am better at hiding than they are at vision.

Thats the thing I don't understand, when I go to the anyboard.cgi http://www.lukesplace.com/cgi/anyboard.cgi to install it, no error comes up, it just redirects me elsewhere.
When I go there, it gives me a 'page not found' error. Is that the 'elsewhere' you get?
That URL looks wrong; it should likely read... http://www.lukesplace.com/cgi-bin/anyboard.cgi
(which also returns a page not found)
Are you sure things are in the right place.
ie: Your CGI scripts should be in a directory named 'cgi-bin'. Your host will tell you where that directory should reside relative to the webroot. (It can vary from host to host)
that was the problem, they turned on the cgi-bin and everything worked!
Thanks...
