I bought a template with an online contact form which I plan to use. I'm very new with html and I don't know how I would write this. If anyone could help it would be very appreciated. You can check out the site at www.upstateclubhub.com and it is under Contacts. Please help! My AIM is sdothawks and Yahoo is s.hawks if you'd prefer to talk on there. Thanks to anyone that can help.
Firstly, html cannot send emails per se. I suggest (if available) you make use of a sever-side language for your mailing needs.
Example; the PHP mail() function.
Is it possible to just write a php file and link it to the submit button to get it to send to email? If so, what would the php file look like, and what do I call it and all. I have 4 places for input on the form. Thanks to whoever helps, trying to get this done asap.
Thanks for the help, but I'm still lost! I basically need someone to walk me through it step by step, tell me what info I need to include and so forth. Trying to incorporate the contact form that was already on my flash template.
You really should contact the person who supplied your flash template since there's usually some code in your .swf file that needs to be modified, and to do that you'll probably need Flash or Swishmax to edit the source file. It's different than an html form.
If you have the source file (.fla or .swi), you may want to post this in the Multimedia forum.
