    Unwanted Margins

    I am in the process of redeveloping the front page of our website. The layout is as follows

    A wrapper has been set at 760px wide
    There is a header
    A strip of 3 photos under the header
    Followed by a drop down menu the full width of the wrapper underneath the photo's.

    The issue is that in Firefox everything looks fine

    In IE there is a gap between the photos and the drop down menu list (unwanted of course). Also the drop down menu does not cover the full width of the wrapper.

    Hopefully the code will help

    HTML Code:
    <body>
        <div id="wrapper">
            <div id="masthead">
                <h1>Aklah Arabians</h1>
    				</div>
                <div id="photos">
    								<img alt="Aklah Kesterl Arabian Colt" src="images/FoalMay2006Pic1.JPG" height="191" width="253.333" /><img alt="Shamil Arabian Stallion (18K)" src="images/SpikePosing.JPG" height="191" width="253.333" /><img alt="Aklah Fantasia Arabian Yearling Filly (28K)" src="images/TazAtHome2006.JPG" height="191" width="253.33" />

    HTML Code:
    <div id="photos">
     <img alt="Aklah Kesterl Arabian Colt" src="images/FoalMay2006Pic1.JPG" height="191" width="253.333" /><img alt="Shamil Arabian Stallion (18K)" src="images/SpikePosing.JPG" height="191" width="253.333" /><img alt="Aklah Fantasia Arabian Yearling Filly (28K)" src="images/TazAtHome2006.JPG" height="191" width="253.33" />
     </div>
    No spaces in the HTML. If you close the img tag like " />(space)<img src=", you are going to get a few pixels on the page between these images.
    Remove the space(s) (as I have done: above), and that part of the problem is solved.
    It shouldn't matter I know, but IE does ...unpredictable things.

    Right below that:
    <div id="navigation">

    <ul id="nav">
    <li><a href="index.html">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="aboutus.html">About Us</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">Services</a>
    <ul>
    <li><a href="services/breeding.html">Breeding</a></li>
    <li><a href="services/breaking.html">Bre (etc.)
    -I do not see any #navigation nor do I see any #nav in the STYLE section...

    Add:
    #navigation {width:760px;text-align:center;}
    to your STYLE and see if this is what you want...
