SQL help needed

How do I get MySql to creat a login in method for my webpage? I'm confused on how to do this, and the things on the internet don't help me understand it well. Is there a better way to do logins beside MySql? Any help will be appreciated.

it's doubtful that you could do a login on a webpage on just mysql. you need a programming language driving it as well. most people use PHP in conjunction with MySQL for web pages., and there are lots of books out there explaining how to use PHP and MySQL together in web applications and web pages.
