    Old versions of IE

All my valid xhtml sites work perfectly in IE 6 and 7 and firefox.
I tested them in ie 3,4 and 5 and 3 is a waste of time, 4 and 5 are almost ok.
Should I be bothered about this or does nobody use these versions any more?

I wonder... How did you tested in IE 3? Do you have IE 3 somewhere installed? Wow! You may sell it on an auction, I guess...

I think the point is that you're wasting your time testing on anything less than IE5 because nobody uses it/them; even with IE5, it's pretty much a waste of time testing there too.

I noticed on my webstats that about 20% of my hits were from ie5 but I was hoping when ie7 came out they would go away all together

Hoping but probably not going to happen because IE7 is only available on Win XP with SP2.
If you can't handle the job then don't take the job or ask for help on it if you are getting paid for it.
