    Embedded FLV not working with IE

    <object
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="300" height="220"
    wmode="transparent"
    data="http://freevideocoding.com/fl

    vplayer.swf?file=http://www.site.com/video.flv&amp;autoStart=true"">
    <param name="movie"
    value="http://freevideocoding.com/fl

    vplayer.swf?file=http://www.site.com/video.flv&amp;autoStart=false"" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0" />
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
    <embed src="http://freevideocoding.com/fl

    vplayer.swf?file=http://www.site.com/video.flv&amp;autoStart=false" quality="high" width="300" height="320" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></embed>
    </embed>
    </object>
    The player shows up and plays with all other browsers, however on IE it doesn't seem to do anything.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Go to this page in Internet Explorer and tell me what it tells you about Version Information.

    http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/

    I have a feeling your flash plugin is outdated in IE. Providing a link to the page will allow others to test it to see if its just your system only and not others.
