Attracting users to an extranet

I need some help attracting users from a main website to an extranet site.
Does anyone have any good ideas on how I can achieve this.

Hi
You should have to work in designing and make a colorfull but not so boring a light colors use and if u can do, work in flash or any macromedia tool and then ur site will be attractive.
