My First Ajax Scripts

I ahave been playing with some on the Ajax scripts from w3 school and some from my own...
This link is a HTML file which calls an ASP file which reads an XML file (from w3)

Question is on mine can I get the value of the Nodes in stead of hard cording the first table row?

<CODE>
<POPULATION>
<WEATHER>
</STATE>

They all have closing tags I just couldn't be bothered putting them here
