Is there anyone out there who knows about using Flash's loadVars() method with PHP documents?

My question is, can I use loadVars from within Flash to process a PHP page, WITHOUT actually loading that page into the browser?

I want to add a hi-score to a database, but I want the user to stay in the Flash game, rather than having to take them to a new page.

At the moment, I have not specified any additional parameters, but the load() command in Flash still opens the submithicsore.php document in a new window - looks terrible.

Anyone know if I can send to the submithiscore.php document WITHOUT it loading in the browser?

Thanks

Toby
