Create Text Box with + -

I'm trying to create a text box capable of minimizing and expanding, I've checked out a lot of different types of text boxes, but I havent come accross any so far that can have information hidden until you choose to expand it, except for a /spoiler tag type.

Here is 2 examples of what I'm trying to do:

    Examble 1)-----------

    +List of games

(Clicking on + expands a text box)
    ---------------------
    -List of games
    World of Warcraft
    Diablo 2
    Game
    Game
    etc..

(But I would like to be able to choose the background color using FF33FF color code, or have it completely transparent to show a background color behind the textbox, and also have no boarder visable)

    Example 2)-----------

List of Games, Click here to see list.

(Clicking on here expands the list.)
    ---------------------

List of games, Click here to close list.
    World of Warcraft
    Diablo 2
    game
    game
    etc...

(With also the capabilities of having a color'd background, no visable boarder, or having a transparent background.)

The place I would like to use these is:
Click Here For My Myspace The site does have music enabled when you load, you'd probably want to lower sound.
Just to give you guys a idea of what I'm trying to get.

And just another question, is it possable to put both pictures and text in a text box of what I'm trying to do?

This might be more in line with what you need:

    KDLA
    FYI
    * My screen resolution is set at 1680x1050
    * I'm accessing your site through a T1 line
    * I'm probably viewing it using Firefox (unless browser is specified)

Thanks for the link, I tried to edit the content in it to furthar form what I was looking for, but was still unable to get it to work on myspace.com, it doesn't allow Java :/, only html.

It's still not quite what I'm looking for though, any chances of something like that in html?

Google doesn't wanna like me this week, the first 100 results are always links to search engines!

I did find something a little more of what I'm looking for, but I have no idea how to install it into myspace, it doesn't seem to be a copy and paste one...

    http://confluence.atlassian.com/disp...and+Text+Macro

Its a expand text macro, seems to be javascript, but it talks about converting something to html.

And this one is probably by far the best that I'm looking for, But it's also in Javascript!

    Any ideas?

That is "javascript" that KDLA linked to, not "JAVA". The difference being that they are two entirely different languages, the first is a scripting language and the second, a compiling language. That you cannot use even javascript on myspace.com (if this is the case) begs the question: -Why would anyone want to stay on a host that blocks javascripting? This is a fairly basic, expected-to-support feature, IMHO. -Have you tried linking to sites that are not hosted on myspace.com yet? I beleive that they also don't let you do that, either (in case you link to a competitor, etc.). Sincerely, -I'd find another host that is a bit less stuck-up.
I build for: Firefox and tweak for IE
