    Exclamation Can this be fluid?

    Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible for this design to be fluid :

    http://www.thebeardmore.com/

I originally designed it to aim for as many screen resolutions as possible, but now have to make the main body 'wider'.
So, is there anyway to make it fluid?

Many thanks for taking a read and having a think about it.

Yes it can be made fluid. You would set a repeating vertical background on the body and a repeating vertical background on the main parent element. The problems I see are that flash thing at the top. Not sure what you would do about that. Same goes for the footer image at the bottom. Good example here: http://bonrouge.com/3c-hf-fluid.php

    Cool.
    Many thanks.

I've played around with it and got it working great. I've yet to keep the 'drop shadow' effect, but maybe some other day I'll try it again.

    Thanks again.

I have a few rather nice, simple & easy to install 'drop-shadow' snippettes in my archived disks. I'll find them a bit later and share. Flexible, -this will 'exapnd' as the content div expands as the 'shadow' is actually a 'wrapper' around the 'content', position slightly right&bottom by several pixels. In fact, -just from this, a clever person might deduce how to proceed...
