Website Forum Help!

Hello, Im a junior web developer, just graduated and i work as a trainee for a a company. I have been given the task of creating a company website.Heres my scenario:
The company wants to have an area on the website with a login where they can use the website to distrubute information to employees. Like a Forum or blog...How do i go about creating this?

You don't, you google forums and blog software and use a pre-fabricated one. There's tons of em out there, many are free.
