I built a site using 3 frames and have put a navigation menu in the lefthand side. I'm not sure why, but when I click a menu item it leads me nowhere, is there something i am missing in the script on any of the pages? I have tryed numerous things to get it to work but no results so far, it also shows that there is a script error on one of the lines but I can't figure it out as I am just new to javascript. Please help with your knowledge so I will be able to do this on other sites I may build with this feature. The URL is: http://www.tooltimerentals.ca/ . If you could email me a solution, this would be great.
Line: 14
Char: 1
Error: 'dest.selectedIndex' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: file://C\Documents and Setings\Dave Tunks.CWDCA\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\C92ZCN4T\[1].htm
<!-- Begin
function leapto(form) {
var myindex=form.dest.selectedIndex;
parent.right.location.href=(form.dest.options[index].value);
index = 0; // reset pulldown menu
}
// End -->
Regarding the myindex line, is this suppose to be the destination where the page is suppose to open? If so the destination where I want it to open is called "rbottom", so should I change the name of myindex to rbottom so its calling to open in the right frame?
Thankyou for your help with this problem........you are awesome !!!!!!!!!
As far as the last question goes that I asked, I figured it out on my own (believe it or not).
