    AJAX (or not)

I am going to be developing a page that has a search on it (city/st) and when you submit that, I want to display the results on the same page below the search form. Would I accomplish this using AJAX? If so, could someone point me in a direction from some code examples. If not, what would be the best way to do that? When you submit the form, I need to query our database to get a list of results that are closest to the city/st the user enters.

    Thanks.

There is no big difference between AJAX and a classical submit query, except that AJAX can do it without changing the session and needs the user to be javascript enabled. That is all.
