Image positioning

So, I'd like to position an image at the absolute bottom of the page no matter how the page is stretched. I know how to place it at the top or any other specific place (using the style tag and putting in coordinates). But if the page stretches vertically the very bottom of the page's coordinates will change. So, how do I keep an image positioned at the very bottom of the page no matter what? and how about the same for background (I'm assuming they would be the same. heh.)?
