    turkish characters

    hello ,i am using dreamweaver mx and
    i would like to use turkish characters on my webpage , (ş,,İ,etc..)

    dreamweaver wont let me do that , help please...

    Add this to the head of each page in code view:
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

    That will tell the webserver to allow non-Latin characters.

    You may have to copy the Turkish text from another editor and paste it into code view then manually insert paragraph tags. This is just a guess. I wouldn't even recognize Turkish. Try the inserting encoding meta tag first and see what Dreamweaver does.

    You may also have to set your preferences to not have Dreamweaver encode entities or rewrite source code.

    I have the same problem with the french Characters. I dont find how to re-encode all my files in UTF-8 Unicode with dreamweaver CS3 !

    Can you help me with this one please !?
