    how to hide filename in address bar?

    Hello,

    I found other user ask this question but no reply..
    Can someone tell me how to hide the filename in address bar?
    like http://www.forum1.com/subtopic/question1.php to become: http://www.forum1.com/subtopic/

    I have ever seen that link but I can't find any different inside it's coding.

    rename http://www.forum1.com/subtopic/question1.php to http://www.forum1.com/subtopic/index.php and you should be able to go to http://www.forum1.com/subtopic/ and it will display the page.

    apart from that im sure there are scripts that will cater for what you want.

    Beyond using the default index document name (as you were just instructed), there are many fancy things you can do with .htaccess translation of the url.
