need help with div layer that needs to remain constant on every page

Hey guys
I have a site I have been working on, it is

I have an events layer on the side of every page that remains constant on every page. Only problem is it is specific to each individual page, in the sense when I want to change it I have change the text for the events on every page. What I want to do is just create something where I can change on main layer and have the change show up on every page. I hope that makes sense. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated again the link is listed above

If I understand what you are working towards, you could either move to some sort of web CMS, such as drupal, or you could try working with SSI's
