I am planning to make a website in English and also in Spanish. Problem is that in Spanish version, I keep getting nothing but ? when any page of mine has an í, é, ó, or ñ.
This is what I have right now (for every page in Spanish):
<!DOCTYPE html PUBliC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="es" xml:lang="es">
<title>Entrar a Pilando</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
Still nothing. What am I doing wrong? If anything. Could it be the host that is causing the problem?
I can't claim this works, but the W3C recommends this meta tag:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Language" Content="es">
Hope this helps.
