Web Design Graphics

Could anyone here tell me if they know a good website that gives some tutorials of building your on design's..not like pictures more like drawing rectangles, circles, lines then using pen tools and bending them into cool desings. Any help would be appreciated, i'm trying to expand my knowledge of being able to come up with some cool designs. Thanks!!

What program are you using? Most websites/tutorials are program-specific.

Yea I have been to those two website's before they do have good tutorials about using fireworks in general, but i'm trying to look for tutorials somewhere about creating designs.
