Bold text in php email()

I need to make certain text bold in an email sent via the standard mail() php function from a form.

I tried using html tags but they just came up in the email itself.

I got round it by adding this into the headers for the email() function in php.

$strHeaders = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$strHeaders .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";
