    resolved [RESOLVED] Hiding the bullet points from lists in Firefox

    KDLA has just pointed out to me:
    http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/sh...081#post801081

    that on the following page:
    http://www.therapy-agency.com/busine...acestress.html

    the bullet points are displaying (when they shouldn't be) on the right hand side navigation links.

    I've tried using IE, and Firefox 2.0, but can't seem to see the same effect she's described.

    The page validates in both html & css with the w3c.

    Any ideas? Particularly on how to hide the bullet effect from that browser?

    Whilst it also works fine for me on FireFox 1.5, I usually hide the bullets by setting list-style, rather than list-style-type to none :
    Code:
    #sectional-nav-main ul li, #sectional-nav-main ul ul li, #sectional-nav-main ul ul ul li {
    	list-style: none;
    	padding: 3px 2px 3px 5px;
    }
    Maybe that will cure problem.

    Cheers Centauri,

    Looks like the problem fixed itself! Thank you though.

    I've just had a check through the W3C area, and the method you've said about is just a valid shorthand for list-type-style:
    http://xhtml.com/en/css/reference/list-style/

    So yeah, really both should work
