javascript priority

Hello
I have two java scripts one internal that loads a quicktime movie and then i have one external that controlls the drop down menu to the left. The problem is that the external script waits for the quicktime player to completly start before executing the external javascript so the menu looks unformated for a while.
Is there any way to load the external script before loading the quicktime player??

Place the link to the external script above the script that loads the movie in the file.

yes its in the head tag.

You could set it so the movie doesn't load until the rest of the page has loaded, using window.onload.
