    Website redesign

    Hi all
I have posted this site before but I have now changed the design and content
it was a web design site but due to lack of hits I have now changed it to a web directory for community websites in the UK.
The site has been renamed to
    UK Community Website Directory
I have tried to make it easy to look at and easy to get round.

Can I have you comments please the site is http://www.wvis.co.uk

Validation was OK until I added the thumbshots code and my categories. Thumbshots I cannot do anything about but I am working on the cats.

    Thanks in advance

As a footnote if you own a UK community site ie UK town/village/city we will list it for free

Nice. Clean. I like the logo with the 'glass' effect.

You're right about the anchors being 'off'... quite a few of these:

    <a href="http://www.wvis.co.uk/index.php/category/england"><a href="england.php">England</a></a>

Note sure what you're tring to do here... looks as if tring to open two links with on click, maybe? You'd need a javascript snippette to do that.

I like the looks of the page.
I build for: Firefox and tweak for IE

I am using a database/news script called cutenews.ru the link is when I make my cats in the script, I asked on there forum how to make the cat open on the page I wanted ie england.php and I was told to put
    <a href="england.php">England</a>
in the cat name when creating the cat. If you look on the pages and hover over the cat name it just shows england.php. I am at present trying to solve this.

I like the looks of the page.
    Thanks
and thanks for taking the time to answer

I have sorted that bit now.
Only thing that fails is the thumbshot code

    Code:
    <img src="http://open.thumbshots.org/image.pxf?url={cf:photourl}" border="1" align="top" onload="if (this.width>50) this.border=1; this.alt='Thumbnails by Thumbshots.org';" />
    the
    Code:
    {cf:photourl}
is my code to include a url to the site I am thumb shotting
    anybody any ideas
