    XMLDOM save

    I'm using XML DOM and Javascript and got a permission denied error wtih the xmlDoc.save() command.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    You can't save to the local computer without hacking browser permission settings

    Use HTA

    If you want to save the xmldom object to xml file locally, you can use an .hta application. It works fine for me.

    There is absolutely no limit to the damage you can cause with an HTA application. Your users would be fools to run it. However, they do work quite well and I use them all the time for limited applications.
