    A textbox will not format HTML code. A textbox will display the raw html (<b>This is a text</b> <p>This is some more code</p>).

    If your just trying to display the output then use a Literal control.

    Im not sure what the problem is. Here it looks like its displaying the text of the html characters. Example: (&lt; = '<' and &gt; = '>').

    Look in your DB and see how the data is stored. Is it stored as <b> or is it &lt;b&gt;?

    your encoding the html

    TextBox1.Text &= HttpUtility.HtmlEncode(dr.GetValue(0))

    Remove the HttpUtility.HtmlEncode()
