For one of my projects I want to do a little something extra... the only problem is I don't know how to edit a video...

Can anyone help me? I just need a small scene from a movie and the one's I've found on youtube show the whole thing... I just need the begining

This is a pretty tall order. Premiere Elements would be a good starter program for video editing. I think it's relatively cheap, but if you've never done video before there's going to be a learning curve.
