that the top header in IE 5.5 and 6 are silver. These are the only two browswers that show it this way. I know from research there are only about 5 to 6% of users still using these browswers. I would like to find a fix for this. I am not the one who designed the website but I will be doing updates. I found this and would like to fix it for Brigitte. Can anyone help me? Is this the time where "!important" would be used in the CSS file for styling?
I wouldn't worry much about IE5.5 - provided it's still usable but quite lot of folk still use IE6 - so I still write CSS for it - brought in with a conditional statement. I run IE5.5, IE6 and IE7 (as well as other browsers) on my computer for test purposes - can't remember where I downloaded the capability - may have been here.
Once you have that, you can play around with the CSS - google ie6 bugs css
